With HTC Desire and Legend Android smartphones shipping out this 2 months, Paul from Modaco has already gained root access to both HTC Desire and Legend. According to Paul, the new devices from HTC have an additional protection layer to its system partition to prevent custom ROM flashing. He is now working on several methods to enable the freedom of customization. Expect to see custom ROM release soon! [via Android Community ]
